Are there any plans to return @manfredsteyer?
We consider switching to alternative OIDC libraries seeing how this year contribution looks like.
To be clear - I totally understand your priorities may change and GitHub project is not the most important thing in the world 馃槃 but it's hard for me to not regret the best available OIDC Angular library is gradually losing its audience because of becoming out of date 馃槩
Thank you for asking this question @kneefer so I don't have to do it 馃槃
I have had the same consideration for a while. I have had two pull requests lying around since December without any sign of getting them pulled. There is no plan for when the next release will come. I have asked @manfredsteyer for at status multiple times, without getting an answer.
I think it might be time to fork this project, leave if for dead, and get a fresh start.
I think the project need a bit of work and would like to:
@kneefer , @bechhansen , @mathieubruguier
I do applaud the initiative but I don't think @manfredsteyer has any plans to abandon this project. To my knowledge he is a busy person who is actively speaking at international conferences. The repository has been a little dormant before but as soon as @manfredsteyer cleared his schedule a bit he went through all open issues and PRs in just a few days which lead to the latest major version. I for one will have patience.
Thanks for sharing your concerns here. I plan a new release for Angular 6:
I will also publish some info for the release cycle. It will probably be a half year cycle aligning with new major releases of Angular.
