  Download der Foto Vorschaubilder dauert sehr lange. Viele Bilder werden überhaupt nicht angezeigt.

Expected behaviour

• Tell us what should happen
  Download der Vorschaubilder muss schneller werden. Sonst ist das Fotoerlebnis schlecht.

This is mostly a problem of the server as the server has to generate preview images in the correct sizes.
To test if this is really the cause, you can wait until one folder is completely loaded and then clear the app's cache and re-enter the folder.
Then it should be much quicker.

You can also use https://github.com/rullzer/previewgenerator to generate the previews in advance and not on demand.

while again the preview generator would have to generate the previews in the requested resolution, right?

Preview generator is generation most common fixed sizes and then serves the one that fist best, e.g: (only an example, not the real sizes)
32x32
64x64
128x128
are generated.

If you then need 92x92 you'd get 128x128, which is a slight overhead in size, but is faster than generating the exact on.

Ok, so I can reproduce this:

• I have Uploaded nearly 3.000 images (from desktop)
• In the app I open the gallery view
• It takes a nearly 1.20 minutes to show the list (only placeholders are shown)
• It takes realy long to pickup the preview images (preview is generated)
• it also only loads the visible images and does not load any further
• while the preview images are loaded the gallery list ist totally useless

Is it possible to download the list and images like it is in the web app? So fetch the list by scrolling down. I think this will speed up that page,

Is it possible to load the images in async and parallel?

@Zeromax ok, you are talking about the photo section. This is unfortunaly known and currently a search limitation of the server. We hope to have a better way on next server release (NC15).
I assumed that @StefanTux19 is talking about the regular file list.
