Android-image-cropper: Picture taken on emulator on android R (API 30) not showing

Created on 20 Jul 2020  路  12Comments  路  Source: ArthurHub/Android-Image-Cropper

Hello. Great library. Today however I'm trying to run it on an emulator on API 30 but the picture taken is not displaying.
Pictures chosen from gallery still work perfectly. I don't have a device with API 30 to test on so I'm not sure if this is an emulator glitch.
Thanks! Keep up the awesome work.

Same issue occurred on emulator API 30 version. Any solution for that?

me too please review the issue it's important

I have the same problem.........it showing no error either.

android R (API 30) when taking picture then in onActivityResult showing result code 0 (CANCELLED CODE) but for success the code is -1, And on other version its working fine. someone please help why this is happening?

same problem here

I think the developers are not focusing on this project. It is most likely a dead project.

@kamelelrifai uCrop have the same issue with Android R api 30 , but android q below works fine

okay thank you for mentioned that 鉂わ笍

I think the main problem is permission related. If you take a picture from the camera then this happens. But if you access from storage then this does not happen. I think camera permission causes problems.

please check this

Hey!

I start a new project to handover this library
https://github.com/CanHub/Android-Image-Cropper

The ideia is that we keep improving because this project don鈥檛 have updates since 2018
Hope I can count with your help.

Open to contribute, next pieces of work will be Android 11 permissions, refactor into Kotlin and ActivityContract
