I'm working on https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/android-components/issues/8312 and https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/android-components/issues/8323 as soon as I finish, I can pick this one :)

@Amejia481 Could you say an avarage date when the prompt will be implemented and will be availble as a baked app in play market for download?

Sorry, we can't state a fixed date, but it's an issue with high priority we will be working on this shortly

@Amejia481 Could you say is this issue fixed or not? Two months were gone and I have tested this on Firefox for Android 82.1.3.
The permission prompt still doesn't popup.

馃憢馃徑 @Nimdim the issue was addressed on https://github.com/Amejia481/android-components/commit/ac2a228c2dc75f91574a77cf138fc82d45d46143 you could give it a try on Nightly and Beta, the stable version will get the feature in the newer updates.
