Accepting cookies may work from the second refresh of the site, maybe that is why a long time ago there was a "reload()" added to the accepting script.

It seems the script should still work, yesterday it hid the pop-up.

"Sign into YouTube" and "get the best youtube experience" pop-ups may be more problematic - maybe need good script clicker / defuser.

It's rather not easy to fix.
These popups are already hidden, but I guess that the problem is that video player is stopped by these popups.

For cookie notice, you can add this rule to Use filter (this rule is already in AdGuard Annoyances, but extension for Firefox/Opera can't update/download new JS rules):

so video should be stopped only on first visit (stopped by cookie notice).

Regarding "Sign in popup", it also stops video player, it's hidden by Annoyances filter and it seems that it disappear after refreshing website few times.
We could add rule to automatically click on "No thanks" button, so this popup will appear only once, but I'm not sure if it's safe.

Z góry przepraszam za to, że puste zdjęcia, ale tego nie da się zdjęciem opisać, chodzi o czat na żywo na YouTube, jeżeli się szybko pisze ze znakami diakrytycznymi to widać takie jakby malutkie opóźnienie, przy zwykłych literach tego nie ma i na żadnej innej stronie również, po czym sprawdziłem, że to AdGuard? Po prostu wyłączyłem go na tej stronie i znaki diakrytyczne pisały się tak jak zwykłe litery, bez żadnego opóźnienia. Dziwne. Przy tych znakach diakrytycznych jest po prostu jakieś milisekundowe opóźnienie, ale ja je widzę i wkurza mnie to, bo mam Internet bardzo dobry i na innych stronach takich rzeczy nie ma, widać takie opóźnienie przy tych znakach ó, ę, ą, ż ć, itd.

The video either gets locked up completely or shows ads. Happens when, either clicking a new video or continuing a previously opened video, not really while actually watching it. Tried turning off every filter and turning them on one by one but nothing worked, maybe Youtube implemented a new way of showing ads? it also happened to me on other adblock app that i installed just to check. Oh and also the same issue kept happening to me on Twitch as well. The only way to make the locked up video play again was to turn off Adguard comepletely (in the actual app not in the Safari plugin interestingly enough) After turning off Adguard the video plays and shows an icon on the right side of the Video saying "The Ad will play in 5..." (sorry dont have a screenshot for that. Im running the latest Big Sur beta release and Safari 14.

On iPadOS using AdGuard content blockers breaks YouTube website. (Using AdGuard pro)
But somehow, Adblock v4.16 easily bypasses all the ads. And doesn’t break YouTube.
Even white overlay is removed.
Adblock runs pretty smoothly on YouTube.
Please, fix the YouTube issue asap.
If Adblock can do it, I’m sure AdGuard can too.

I just read on Adblock website regarding their fix for YouTube that they released in v4.16 (browser extension version, thinking they might just have updated app as well)
So likely they have updated some filters.
I went on to install their app from App Store and surprisingly, it was able to block the initial pre video ads.

I was wondering what is so different between browser extension version and safari content blockers.
Because AdGuard runs smoothly on YouTube with browser extension but cribs on safari.
I’ve tried a lot adding user filters by copying those blocked from browser extension but of no avail.

Does AdGuard have any custom content blockers user rule for YouTube that can help bypass ads on YouTube ?

What is difference when it comes to content blocking between YouTube mobile and YouTube desktop?
A workaround that I presently use is as follows.

Open YouTube (desktop version) on iOS
Play video
Video crashed => Request for mobile site
Video plays in mobile site smoothly without ads (but yeah, controls aren’t good as in desktop version)
If I play another video in mobile site, ad comes up
Refresh page, ad gone.
Request desktop, video broken.
Back to mobile version (with no video controls :( but yeah, no ads :) )

May be this sequence can help AdGuard find the right blockers. :) without breaking website.

Content blockers for Safari have limited possibilities and support only basic rules, like element hiding rules (cosmetic rules) and blocking network requests while extensions and apps for Android, Mac, Windows support scriptlets, JavaScript rules, CSS rules and more - https://kb.adguard.com/en/general/how-to-create-your-own-ad-filters

As far as I know, these "new" ads on youtube are displayed only for some users and sometimes clearing cookies/cache or signing out from account fixes problem with ads.

Okay, gotcha.

But @AdamWr what about the difference between YouTube desktop and YouTube mobile on same browser?
On mobile version of YouTube on safari in iPadOS, all it takes is a refresh of a page and ad is gone, simply the video starts.
However, on desktop version of YouTube on safari in iPadOS, it simply breaks the video.

Seems I’m among those unfortunate who are getting these “new” ads and also, clear cookies/cache and sign in out hasn’t helped either.

Для пользователей браузерного расширения Opera и Firefox. Было добавлено правило, которое исправляет проблему с новым типом рекламы, но ввиду особой поддержки JS правил этими браузерами, оно будет работать только после выхода новой версии расширения.
Однако для Firefox было также добавлено временное решение. Для этого нужно очистить данные браузера (кэш / куки), проверить обновление фильтров вручную и посмотреть ролики на сайте.

Youtube was testing this anti-adblocker ads some time ago, when they replaced video with image and text ad, at the start of playback. Now it seems they started to roll out true video ads this way. Hello

Yesterday after upgrading to the latest nightly it worked to display the YouTube videos. Today it is broken again.

And yesterday it had sometimes problems, when YouTube wanted to bring ads then the stream stumbled a little bit.

После завершения предыдущего ролика https://www.youtube.com/ при старте нового ролика начал пропускать рекламу во время просмотра. Получается он её вроде как блокирует сума рекламу и я вижу белый экран заблокированной рекламы с возможностью нажать кнопку "Пропустить" и таймером рекламы. Получается блокирует не до конца.
