There was an issue with these ads appearing at the top of my yahoo mail. They disappeared for quite a while after my first report, but they returned again yesterday. I don't know what has happened or what is different, but they're still here today.
I wrote a message on the old report, but it's closed, so I don't know if that message will get through, so I am writing here as well.

Possible:

jumping mails on list (new interface) due hide ads after ~30 s by Yahoo javascript (list is positioned absolute and use calc top: px property):

IMO you have ad leftover/placeholder here:

I don't insist on forcing static positioning - the gap itself disappears after ~30 seconds, if someone doesn't scroll quickly the list jump won't be annoying.

With me, it can only be eliminated faster by repositioning (like position: static).

How to switch lang here?

Change language can be found on "Yahoo account preferences":

https://login.yahoo.com/account/preferences

After change, refresh webmail interface and will be have e.g. German language.
