The issue is actually not in display. It is in CPU. It stems from https://linkedin.com/li/track being blocked by a content blocker. The site doesn't let it go and loops this request tens of times per second (look in Web Inspector to see flow of messages). It's connected to their Beacon API.

Not reproduced on my mac.
Please add to user rules this exclusion @@||linkedin.com/li/track and check again.
Exclusion reduced tab resource usage down to 5-10% CPU and stopped barrage of web inspector errors. Of course, it does allow the tracking, which is contrary to the goals of the filters.
Checked on few devices - also not reproduced. Please leave it in user rules.
Strange. Thanks for checking. Will leave in user rules.

Cannot reproduce. It is blocked by Base filter.
Please try to disable SSL filtering in Kaspersky.
I have a iMac, firefox latest version, adguard home DNS blocking.
The thing is that I use ublock origin, that keeps blocking the request and hugs the CPU. Within 1 minute a few thousands queries are being blocked and the whole PC becomes warmer. In ublock origin you cannot specify the whitelist that specific url part. So the only option is to disable the whole filter. So could you please remove that blocking in the filter?

Ps this also happens on my windows laptop and windows pc and my macbook, 2016 and 2018 model..
A few others have the issue on the Apple Discussions area as well. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251564361
Frankly, I have to say the original report was low quality. No mention about steps to reproduce means we readers can assume just visiting the page is enough to reproduce. But if you looked SS carefully you'll notice actually OP was logged in - and I can reproduce the issue ONLY IF I logged in. Unfortunately scriptlet doesn't work due to CSP, so maybe the only solution will be removing the rule as @bruvv did.

IDK what you mean, both
@@||linkedin.com/li/track
and
||linkedin.com/li/track$badfilter
work.

They work in unlock origin do you mean ? I am assuming you add one of these into the whitelist ?
Not to the whitelist... Add it to my filters
@Yuki2718 In which browser reproduced on your end?
@Yuki2718 In which browser reproduced on your end?
Firefox, but somehow now it's not reproduced - no more that infinite call even with logged in. So there can be another condition.
Weird issue. Still cannot reproduce on my devices.

Ignore the screenshots. LinkedIn does not load (blank page, or spinning LinkedIn ball). It loads properly
by allowing these under user rules:linkedin.com#@%#if (typeof localStorage != 'undefined' && localStorage.setItem) { localStorage.setItem('visited', 'true'); }
linkedin.com#@%#AG_onLoad(function() { setTimeout(function() { var el = document.getElementsByClassName("application-outlet no-scroll")[0]; if(el) { el.classList.remove("no-scroll") }}, 1000); });
linkedin.com#@%#AG_onLoad(function() { setTimeout(function() {var el = document.querySelectorAll('artdeco-global-alert[severity="notice"]')[0]; if(el) { el.remove(); }}, 1500); });

@mathiasbb Hi. Not reproduced. Do you have the same issue with VPN?
Weird issue. Still cannot reproduce on my devices.
Did you login and what device did you use? What version of ublock are you using? If you give a bit more information we can locate the issue more
@bruvv I tested both AdGuard Extension 3.4.31 and uBlock Origin 1.29.0 (with AG Tracking Protection) so probably the type of extension is not relevant.
Ok, removed that rule.
