AdGuard Base filter prohibits blocking certain sponsored content from dianomi.com on reuters.com. No matter what filter I add, some sponsored articles always show up (see attached screenshot). When I deactivate the base filter, the sponsored content can be blocked normally.

Hey guys, this should be easy and quick to fix. Please have a look! It鈥檚 open since almost a month now.
Problem is as said the AdGuard Base Filter, it doesn鈥檛 allow us to block sponsored content from dianomi.com.
It must be blocked by the rule from Base filter - ||dianomi.com^$third-party
But it is not worked on iOS... We will check it.
Added possible fix. Please check this issue after 2-3 hours.
@Superkloton do you see that ad after update?
Unfortunately yes! Updated the filters in the app but the ads still show.
Please add ||dianomi.com^$third-party to user filter. I don't know why it is not working from the main filter. Maybe a bug.
I can鈥檛. AdGuard for iOS 3.0.1 crashes as soon as I tap on "'Add rule" (Issue #1137).
Edit: OK I managed to add the rule via a text file and import. The exception rule however doesn鈥檛 work either, the ads still show. I guess the Base Filter has a higher priority.

@Superkloton @s4ndr34s It seems this is caused by a bug: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForiOS/issues/1139

Seems to work now! 馃憤馃徎
Let's hope it stays that way.
OK it works on desktop but it's back on iOS, and user filters addressing dianomi are not working either. It's cursed. 馃懝
@Superkloton they are using ads reinjection script. It generates ads with randomized elements, so it cannot be blocked on iOS, because it does not allow to use JS, CSS and extended CSS rules:(
Darn. And now? Can't this script be blocked itself?
Inline script cannot be blocked or removed, as external JS(this it not possible on iOS, with AdGuard for Safari on Mac - browser extension).
Guess we have to find a way around it then, otherwise every page will start to implement ads like this.
Guess we have to find a way around it then
Android OS:) AdGuard for iOS uses Safari Content Blocker. There are no other options to solve the problem on iOS because of Apple "security" policy.
Hm I'm jailbroken. There might be another way 馃槈
No:( On iOS ads can be blocked using Safari Content Blocker. It is used by AdGuard and all other ad blockers for iOS. Another way - AdGuard DNS, but only domains can be blocked.
Safari Content Blocker is primitive compared with AdGuard browser extension and apps.
With a jailbreak, you can go around those restrictions and block outside the Safari Content Blocker, for example with a modified host file.
HOSTS file is very simple method. This is impossible to filter whole traffic like in Win/Mac/Android on iOS. Using DNS only domains can be blocked, but not specific URL of HTML element.
OK I just added
0 dianomi.com
to my host file. Works perfectly 馃槉
The rule for dianomi.com exists in our filters. That ad rendered by inline script, which cannot be blocked on iOS.
Very annoying. It works for a while though and then comes back after a few hours. Really weird.
