Does this app comply with Meity released protocol? https://meity.gov.in/writereaddata/files/Aarogya_Setu_data_access_knowledge_Protocol.pdf
If yes from which versions?
I guess we'll really know if they're deleting the data from their servers after 180 days, as mentioned in the document after they release the Server code.
@anivar This doesn't really qualify as an Issue, my suggestion would be for you to close the issue if you've got your question answered by now.
Tech Compatibility of the codebase with protocol ideally should be mentioned in the readme, if it is implemented. Also release notes should mention it against version numbers
So far no such mention noticed.
So please provide clarity on compatibility and mention that in version history/release notes/readme
Any legal issue doesn't necessarily need to be part of the codebase or even in repo. Enough information has been given regarding implementation, adding further will defeat the purpose of a README.
Let me explain this in a different way.
1 cant implement support for 2 in past versions. 1 has to comply with 2 since it is a government notification. But it has to be done in some future version after May 11th , the date of the notification.
How we know 1 is compatible with 2? It needs tech compliance with legal protocol announced and a changelog/readme mention tagged with a version. That's what I am asking to include /clarify here
