Describe the bug
Flickering on passenger windows whenever direct sunlight hits them.

To Reproduce

Was this working before/when did the issue start occurring?
Since the beginning.
Is this a problem in the vanilla unmodded game?
I think so.
I have the same issue. This happens almost every flight and looks really bad. Some of it happens in the cockpit too creating awful blocky shadows with lines.
it has been a problem for a long time
and I still don't know what can we do about it

I am no programmer but is it possible to remove the windows lighting system and implement a new one that traces the sunlight similar to the reflections they did in the cockpit with the glare shield? and if we cant remove the system maybe mask it with something over it?
is not the sun is the blur heat from the engine that cause the problem

Nope, that's a whole other issue. #1224
I am talking about the flickering i pointed at in the GIF with the mouse cursor. It only happens when the windows are receiving sunlight. The right window won't flicker if the sun is on the left and you don't see that effect at night.
You can see the heat blur at night although it's less pronounced.

there really isn't such thing as a "window lighting system" I'm afraid - lighting is part of the game's rendering engine and it's not something we can change easily. The problem might be caused by model issues, but we will have to see.

I see. Thank you for the clarification.
